Hmm... (Romzy studies the bow-turned prismarine block with a monocled eye). This is not the first instance I have seen of this, it seems to be happening to many a good bow. A puzzling mystery to be sure. I fear some begrudged sorcerer may be at work with some trickery to de-bow the fine archers of this realm. Or maybe it is a disruption of the very fabric of this plane, caused by some intrusion by denizens from another realm! ... Those are just musings of an old shopkeeper though. The mystery, for now, remains unsolved.

Romzy smiled, grateful for the rendezvous. "What a fine encounter! She has a refreshing kindness... and a flair for the poetic!" Quilby squeaked in approval, and the two walked on together.

Having just returned from a glorious vanquishing of the beast known as the Corrupter of Worlds, with his assassin companion @RaptorJesus, Romzy steps into the shop to see the new face of a patron.

See's Something in the Distance almost player Shaped... "SHWOOOOOOOOP" Cursed Mage Appears with a Crash down from the Sky. Notices Eyes are Glowing a Brighter Red For he has gotten more powerful. "I have an Offer" he says "30EB for [53] Bough of Fir | 1/4s mana reg, 16%loot" He Freezes Time until @_Romzy_ Comes to answer

 

A curious Quilby sits on one of the Emporium's comfy red chairs, watching the mysterious dark robbed mage stand completely still. As Romzy returns to the store from a late day of adventuring, Quilby gives a squeak.

"He's been standing frozen like that for hours, you say? How odd!" (With that, the mage's eyes glow a bright red and his head turns to look at the shopkeeper)

(Slightly startled) "Ohoo! Hullo my good mage -- your power certainly is growing isn't it!
You're interested in that wand? It is a new item, with few price records. However, legendary artifacts of that level often go for 40EB and beyond. So I believe that 40EB is a fair price for you."

 

As Cursed mage hears his counter proposal, He looks up from where he stands to look @_Romzy_ in the eyes. "My Money is limited and I haven't had the time recently to gain that amount. Though i have 35EB in Total. Would this be Payment enough? I have Some legendary items but they are no higher than lvl 40 I await your Return" Cursed mage Surrounds himself in a ball of dark Energy which shoots towards the skye with a loud bang like lightning. In the Ground a message scorched into the ground " YOU MEARLY ADOPTED DARKNESS, I WAS BORN INTO IT"

Romzy returns to the shop with a loud *huff,* thankful for a moment's reprieve from multiple days of long adventuring. Romzy raises an eyebrow at the large burn mark that is now scorched onto his beautiful wooden shop floor. As he settles in, he inquires with Quilby if there are any outstanding orders. Noting a few, the shopkeeper begins sending out polite correspondence.

That shall be quite satisfactory. Please let me know when you are available to pick you the wand!

Despite a full day of adventuring, Romzy returns to the shop somewhat disheartened. Having hunted high and low for his beloved lost horse Eldamuer, he feared that he had seen that last of his companion.

She had served as his trusted steed for years of adventuring -- and this was not the way he imagined she would leave his side. Though he longed to run his hand through her mane once more, he brightened upon imagining her nuzzling his face as she often had. During the toughest of trials, she had always known how to lift his spirits.

And so with her memory in mind, Romzy headed to bed determined to continue making the most of whatever may await him on the horizon.

 

Bow walks into the wonderful Emporium and spots the desired helmet.

"Hullo, Romzy my lord!. I would like to purchase Svalinn from you. Is 1LE enough? If not, I'm sure we can find an acceptable price."

Bow leaves the shop as Quilby squeaks happily behind him. Bow enters the bar nearby and waits for a response.

 

Taking a last sip of his morning tea, Romzy slips into the shoes dropped at his feet by the helpful Quilby, before heading off in search of @BowTC.

He hopes the adventurer will be willing to purchase the helm at 1LE and 16EB.
