Just as she's placing down a certain pair of boots onto the reserved section of The Forge, an adventurer then happens to inquire about the same item.

"My apologies, someone had just reserved the item a moment ago for 1 le and 32 eb! It seems that you were a stone throw too late!"

The Smith then glances at the glare hanging from the little corner of the shop.

"Ah, yes. But do come back another time! We may have more items in stock then!"

 

Just before the adventurer is about to leave, Erin receives an apologetic letter.

"Wait! Traveller! It seems that the position to obtain the Morph-Gold is now intact! When would you be able to meet up to buy it?"

As she recieves an inquiry while polishing a few of her items, Erin smiles at the adventurer.

"Of course, one second."

Erin smiles at the adventurer scruntinzing her shop.

"I'm currently in the works of performing that task! But I'd first like to track down all of the items so the links may be uploaded all on one date!"

Alright, I will be on in a few minutes. Where should we meet?

 

"I'm currently outside of Wynn right now but I'd be happy to meet up with you tomorrow."

She then throws a kind smile at the adventurer.

 

Alright. I've forgotten about timezones for a minute, so when are you available tomorrow? I need to compare the timezones to see when we will both be awake.

 

Checking her timepiece, Erin then replies to the adventurer.

"I will be 'venturing throughout the lands of Wynn during at from the early hours of 7 am to 1 pm."

Erin grins.

"I'm what they call 'an early bird'."

 

The mage calculates the time when he will be awake, and agrees with the merchant.

"I suppose it will work, although I may get cut short on time. I will see you in 10 hours, 57 minutes and 45 seconds then."

The mage vanishes as particles of cosmic dust swirl around the room.

I think that's over doing my ability in Wynn, though.

 

With a wave, Erin bids the mage a goodbye, as well as a wish for good tidings.

"So long, traveller! I will see you on the 'morrow!"

 

I would like to bring you an offer when we meet again

 

With a flourish of mist and flames, the mage reappears in the forge's front door. As he enters, he wonders where the merchant currently is.

"It is your 'morrow, correct? I am currently out of state and am not too sure about time zones as of the moment, but I do reckon that this is roughly the waking time for you?"

After a bit of time, the mage believes that he may not have enough time scheduled for this meeting, as it is approaching midnight at his home. He must return soon, or what lurks nearby his home might break in. Who knows what could happen if that would to occur?

The mage leaves, but not before reassuring that the merchant and him will meet sooner or later.

A note is left on the front desk of the forge, reading:

"Dear Erin,​

I am awfully sorry that I could not make it to this appointment, but I believe that I did not have the time. Alas, I cannot risk leaving my home unprotected from the dangers of corruption, so if possible, please reserve the pair of boots for a later time. I will return to a closer timezone in roughly 1 and a half weeks, so if the boots are not sold by then, I will pay for them then.

With the letter on the desk waiting to be read by Erin, the mage begins his way home. His home is past a perilous trek between the mountains of Wynn and through the cold forest of Nesaak, past the House of Twain. It is only there that he can return to his home, in a different timeline only bound by his immensely sleep-draining work.

 

The Smith smiles at the adventurer.

"And I would be glad to hear of this dealing."

Upon walking into the warmly lit grounds of The Forge, Erin first strides pass the large, fired anvil set in the middle of the room and over to her well-loved wooden desk. But upon finding the note, she raises a quizzical eyebrow.

"What is this?"

Taking the note into her hand, The Smith then carefully reads it before setting it down. Her head nodding in understanding.

"Nonsense! I will reserve the item for Lord Drax until he returns. Even if there may be a higher bidder!"
