You seem to misunderstand the level of this woman's madness. She did get cut and she was hurt by your attack, but she's just not paying attention to it. Healing magic would only, well, heal her. Plus you can't use healing magic

Angela's arrow hit a remain of the house, making a huge chunk of the roof fall between her and the crowd. That gave her a bit of time.

"Okay, Angela, think—" She first felt Lust's Authority when she was punched by a man already affected. That made her angry, furious on a level she wasn't able to keep calm anymore. That was obviously part of what Bellatrix's mysterious 'Authority' was.

The crowd was not affected when Angela first arrived. But at the end they were cheering when Angela nearly killed one of the man. Cheering as one; men and women alike, cheering the exact same way. The men fighting, all furious in the same way.

According to the person who described the situation to Angela before she started fighting, the fight had started with a quarrel. A person tried to interfere, and as soon as he did they started punching each other.

The people joining the fight, angry like the two people quarrelling in the beginning.

The crowd cheering and finding the fight amusing, just like Bellatrix probably was back then.

How Angela had been washed away by an emotion that was not hers as soon as she joined the fight—————

"Fooooounnnnd youuuuu~!"

A voice sounded behind her, but Angela was too late. Chains wrapped around her body and pulled her back, dragging her closer and closer towards the lunatic she now hated the most in the world.

 

Sorry its just not clear for me, which is strange considering how I say weirder things. As for healing magic ik I can't use it, just analising the options. Care to answer some things about my current situation?

Firstly, do I still have my sword? And secondly, the chains wrapped around my body, did it get my arms as well and I cant use them? Same goes to wings

 

The knight shook his head, and smiled. "I don't know what's giving you all that confidence. But I won't fail you."

Rathius thought for a moment, then said, "My name is Rathius Tinzel. Royal Guard."

"Diabel Kalsten. A «Spirit Knight» of the Knights Brigade."

"We're coming close. At least we know he hasn't been walking fast or anything." Rathius told Diabel as they ran down the street where Rathius had previously encountered the mysterious cultist. Then—

Diabel sucked in his breath. "...! There he is!"

There was no mistaking it. The boy shrouded in dark cloak was walking in a slow pace, moving side to side pleasantly. Diabel looked to Rathius, and he nodded in confirmation.

The civilians had been evacuated. He was an open target.

Diabel drew his rapier silently and readied it. Rainbow-coloured lesser spirits started to appear all around the weapon, charging it up for a magical strike. He drew the rapier back—

"Al Zestiria!"

His rapier started glowing with bright light, and Diabel swung it forward. A beam fired from the blade, cutting through the air in the trajectory the swing had formed. The magical attack hit the boy in the back.

And exploded, making dust flare up into the sky.

They are free, but flying is not an option, considering Lust is pretty strong (in terms of pulling strength).

 

Rathius quickly rushes towards the boy, shield up front. He runs through the dust and bashes his shield into the boy, knocking him back.
He then grabs his sword and starts to attack the boy.

I ready an arrow and shoot at her left shoulder, believing she wont be able to defend herself because of the chains wrapped around my waist.
"Do you not have any sense of morality??" I shout at her, finally letting what I was thinking out "Having all these people do your dirty work?
I put my hand in the pome of my sword.

 

Scythe Archibaud had been invited to be in the conference opened by the current three King Candidates. Great Spirit Izanami stood next to him, in her human form.


First Candidate. Tristia Felodore. A noble, and the head of the Felodore family. She became the head when her husband, Liep Felodore, died.

Archibaud narrowed his eyes at the beautiful redheaded girl. She showed an attitude of looking down at every person in this room, including him and Izanami, the Elders, and the other candidates. However, he felt a vibe around her that made him believe that she wasn't just a rich noble scum.

Izanami pulled Archibaud's sleeve. "She has a weird Divine Blessing." She said, frowning. "I can't tell what it is, or how strong. But it feels weird."


Second Candidate. Estelle Belstain. Head of the Belstain house, inherited the place from her late father. A great warrior and leader, she was one of the most supported candidate by the public. She was the one who sent out the successful campaign to crush illegal trafficking businesses and road bandits all around the Kingdom.

Belstain was known for her special set of sword skills, which combined with wind magic, did devastating damage.


Third Candidate. Affrice Ordo. Coming from a small town in the countryside, she is the founder and head of the biggest business set in the Kingdom. No real combat power, but she was famous for changing her hometown, which used to be a small shabby town, into one of the richest states in the Kingdom.


Archibaud stifled a yawn. Izanami didn't bother hiding her own yawn. "I'm bored...." Izanami whispered while pouting.

Archibaud felt the same. Why did he have to attend such a talk? It was true that these three might be the future ruler, but was there actually gonna be an attacker that was able to sneak into the very center of the castle and launch a major attack in front of a Scythe and a bunch of Royal Knights?

Izanami tensed next to Archibaud. "What's up, Iza?" He looked down to his contracted spirit.

Izanami frowned. "There's been trouble outside. I won't know exactly what until I go closer, but there's been civilian casualties."

Archibaud looked up at the room. Nobody in here, even the Knights, had received the news. Was he to interrupt the discussion and report the situation?

Soon, what had been the boy was reduced to a cut-up body, lying on the ground. Blood dripped down from Rathius's sword.

"——huh?" Rathius couldn't help but feel that something was wrong. How did he die so easily?

"Did you do it!?" Diabel cried from afar. Rathius looked down at the gruesome body, then started to say something—

"Oh hey~! You're that guy from earlier. The one who knew Arcux." A voice sounded from behind him.

Rathius saw, in place of all the blood and gore should've been, the cloaked boy standing. There wasn't a trace of any wound or blood on the boy's body.

It was like the boy had negated his death completely.

 

He held up his sword and pointed it at the boy.
"Let me guess, another Sin? And if so..." He looks at the pool of blood: "..You must be Greed, right?"

 

Bellatrix seemed to grin as she saw Angela draw her bow and shoot the arrow. She didn't use her chains to block the shot. Or evade at all.

The arrow found its mark into Lust's shoulder. She spread her arms wide, blood pouring from the wound.

"Ah— what a kind, loving world......"

Angela watched as the crowd of people in her vision was filled with crimson colour as blood sprayed everywhere from their left shoulders all at once..

The pool of blood had disappeared altogether. The boy whom you just cut apart is standing in front of you, totally unharmed.

 

He tightens his grip around the sword. "Are you a Sin or are you not?!" He snaps at the boy.
"Speak up!"

 

I move forward a bit (or if I was sitting stand up) and say
Archibaud:"I'm sorry to interrupt, but an attack or a revolt might be happening on the city. Izanami here has sensed civilian casualties outside"

Name:Verillian(Ver) Haron
Age/gender: 16 and male
Race: Human
Appearance: About 4' 8" or 1.42 meters. Other than that shorter dark brown hair and dark green eyes, thinner arms but more muscular legs. Generally wearing a full body black outfit.
Equipment: No real armor but fights with two 4 inch long curved blade knives (These are styled after karambits if you need an example)
Backstory: Ver was born into a group of assassins that generally operated in the capital. He's been trained his whole life as an assassin but recently has been exiled from the group for failing to finish one of his missions. Now he wanders the capital looking for any kind of work before he runs out of money.
Magic: I'd actually like to do light magic. Is that ok?

 

(Can she even spread her arms with an arrow to the shoulder? Just the idea seems.... ouch.)

I cover my mouth, terrified with I just did. "No. It wasn't me. She is doing this to them. It's all her fault."
I try to find a way to defeat her, putting the bow back in my back. I start trying to 'fly' away

 

I take a step back and study the fiend, looking for weak points.

By the way, what would happen if I were to touch a witchfiend and forcibly "purify" it?

 

The boy cocked his head to the side. "Huuuh? Why do I have to be ordered around by you? Oh well, whatever. I'll introduce myself, because, manners, right?"

The boy brought back his hood, revealing his face. Brown hair that was uncut and partially covered his face; eyes with glowing red pupils, and purple marking beneath his eyes. The boy grinned and bowed.

"My name is Rigel Belphegor Barielle. Cardinal Sin of the Witch's Order. Representing «Sloth»."

"El Fula!" Diabel shouted behind Rathius, and a tornado erupted all around the Sin, tossing his small body around, cutting and slicing brutally, Blood spattered everywhere. When the tornado died down, what was left of him was a sliced up body.

But in a blink of an eye Rigel was standing again, this time right next to Rathius. Rigel looked up at Rathius's face, seeming amused.

 

"So there are 7 then? Pride, Sloth.. and where are your friends?!"
He backs away a bit.
He thinks to himself: "I have a plan, but I don't know if it works.."

 

".........what did you say?" The first one to break the silence was Estelle Belstain. She placed a hand on her longsword's pommel. "A revolt?"

"Then those starting the revolts have nerves to commit violence in my streets." Tristia lifted her fan to cover her mouth.

"They aren't your streets yet, you know~?" Affrice chided, then she shrugged. "That is, indeed a problem. Have you knights received any alerts?" She narrowed her eyes at the two knights standing alongside the door.

A blond knight stepped forward. "Actually, ma'am! We've received notices that the revolt has been taken care of by the royal guards!"

"Liar." Izanami growled. Sparks started to rise from her body, meaning she was getting ready to turn into a scythe for Archibaud's use.

Archibaud placed a hand on Izanami's shoulder. "Who are you?" He asked the blond knight.

His handsome face warped as he grinned maliciously. "I guess that didn't work. Oh well...... then let me start the first attack?"

 

I give Izanami a signal to transform into a scythe adter she transforms I point the scythe at the knight "I'll repeat once again. Who are you?"

 

Chains shot at Angela in a blinding speed just as Angela spread her wings. She managed to dodge them, but more chains came after her.

Then—

"Stop right there!" A voice cried, making Bellatrix stop her attacks. Both she and Angela turned, to see a group of knights standing with their weapons in arms.

"You lunatic—!" The knight at the front growled as he saw the wounded civilians. His gaze briefly met Angela's, then turned back at Bellatrix.

The Sin of Lust writhed her body happily. "Ohh... I love this. How kind you are to join me and this girl in our dance?"

She bowed deeply. "Bellatrix Asmodeus Barialle. Cardinal Sin of «Lust»."

"——Kayde Ferris." The knight gritted his teeth, and named himself.

Rathius leaped away from Rigel, creating a distance between himself and the Sin. Diabel came up next to Rathius.

"What's your plan?" Diabel asked. He looked at Rigel, who was standing on the spot with a lazy grin on his face. "There's no way he can actually negate his death so easily. There has to be a trick behind it."

"Hey!" I wave in their direction, trying to get attention "Try not to hurt her that badly, everytime she gets hurt everyone she controls also does!" I say pointing at the arrow in her shoulder, then at the controlled people.
I get out my sword and swing it in the air, as well as combining it with Ul Fula to see if its possible for me to break the chains. "A little help here maybe?
