I thrust Hydrolance behind me then dash forward staying low in the water, projection swinging above me.

 

You thrust your hydrolance behind you. Nothing. Your projection hits nothing. As you dash forwards, you trip on a leg and faceplant.

 

I rake the projection on both sides of me while trying to get up, using a wave to assist.

 

Read it to me

 

I dragged Blazeburst across the ground, creating sparks as I walked towards the man; eyes glowing red

 

"Yes, where is it?"

 

Its the mages doing i think and i go to slice them

 

I stand still,dumbfounded.
'What on earth happened?The elemental....I hope it is alright.'
'....Probably.'
I approach the previously-dissolved knife slowly and worryingly,then collect it.I inspect the knife carefully,still unsure about what happened when I turned my back to the magic elemental.

 

OOC: You have returned :D
IC: "Whatever" I say and begin walking towards the nearest house, and knock on the door.

 

I may as well sleep a bit.

I'll go hunting when I wake up.

 

"Yes," I reply. "I was hoping to do some work for The Republic of The Deserted Sands. I heard they were at war with The Grand Duchy of Hellwood and was wondering if I could help out. If I'm paid, of course."

 

I continue deeper into the hole

 

I release the knife. "What are you doing?" I ask him, anxiously.

 

He ignores you, and quickly runs over to the man on the pedestal. He says an incantation, and then brings his knife down on the man. A bright light is released that forces you to look away.

You continue sliding down the cave, the heat intensifying. The sound gets louder. You can almost make it out. There are still lots of corpses, though it's obvious these are a lot older than the ones you found at the beginning of the cave.

15 Mass

"Smart man." He replies, pulling out a small bag of coins.

"I have your first job. You're going to serve with the 2nd Mercenary Regiment. You'll be paid 1 gold coin and 50 silver coins daily. Your first week's earnings are in this bag. After that you will be paid daily, plus any loot you may get. Now get going. Colonel McCree is outside in the field." He hands you the bag. It seems he is largely apathetic about conditions and requirements.

You collapse into your bed and almost instantly fall asleep.

You awaken just as you fall off your bed, leaving you faceplanted on the ground.

OOC: Mhm. And will do so for quite a while.

You walk towards the nearest house and knock on the door. A monk opens the door.
"Hail, traveler. What brings you to this monastery?" He asks.
At this moment, it occurs to you that most of these houses are monasteries or churches.

You inspect the knife. It is exactly the same as before, but upon closer inspection, you realize that its magical capabilities have increased tenfold.

You take flight over to the mage column and swoop in, claws extended. They attempt to put up the shield, but you manage to get out just as the shield goes up. +10 Kills +1 Prestige

"It's in the monster castle where your body currently is. Go ask Dominus Terrae about the library." He says.

He continues laughing, unfazed. Tears go down his cheeks from laughing.

You give him a look, and he interprets it as you telling him to read it to you.
"Which one would you like first, Sire? The letter or the report?" He asks.

You get up successfully. The projection hits nothing. All of a sudden, the air right beside you explodes, knocking you to the side slightly. Kyln appears in front of the area where the sonic boom occurred. The blue and white flames around him don't stop burning.

"I missed." He comments, getting back into position.

 

"Eugh."
I mutter, getting up and wiping my eyes.
I go to my cabinet and grab another apple, biting it.
I then continue eating the apple, getting my gear ready to go hunting.

 

I hurl Hydrolance at his skull, then grab the projection.

 

You start eating the apple, preparing your stuff. The apple tastes...odd.

Just as your lance is about to hit him, he disappears, causing the lance to embed itself in the wall behind him. You grab hold of the projection.

"A lance is designed for attack. Let's see how you defend with one." His voice echoes.

 

I observe the apple, after preparing all my stuff, and opening the trapdoor and getting ready to climb out.

 

"Poorly." I mutter.
I lunge forward, then push myself back against a wall with a wave.

 

Right as your back is turned towards the wall, Kyln appears, rapier pointed at you, cutting the wind around him. You only have seconds before he gets to you.

You look at the apple. It's glowing green.
