I shoot at his calves, then his neck, then three arrows low and in a horizontal fashion.

 

"If you wish, I can help you fight them. I can help you defeat them."

 

"Interesting...and what is in it for you?"

He rolls out of the way of the arrows.

You walk around a bit. Finally, you see a small crack in the ground with steam pouring out of it.

One of the clerks leads you to the basement, where there is a pretty large storage section. "Please, take a look around. See what you wish to buy. We have all kinds of armor for sale here."

Your troops finish packing up and begin a long march towards where an opposing camp was last spotted. After a while, you and your troops get through the forest and into Hellwood territory.

"Yes, you may. This forest is large." He replies.

You charge towards the catapults, completely destroying them. A lucky crossbow bolt hits you in between the scales of your wing.

You awaken in the small clearing. Not much has changed. However, you can see a man looking over you.

It is relaxing. After the 1 foot mark has been reached, the zombie troll shouts out, "COMMENCE THE SPARRING!" Your partner draws out a rapier made of bones. It is completely pitch black.

 

I roll to my feet and form a projection of Hydrolance, holding the real one defensively.
I start swinging the projection wide across the arena, expecting some kind of special attack.

 

You swing the projection around. Your partner's sword bursts into flames, and moves it into a position so that it cuts the projection in half the next time it will go near him.

 

I gasped and back flipped, making space between me and the man. "Who are you...?" I asked

 

I raise the projection above him, poised to skewer him with it.
I charge him, Hydrolance held forward.

 

I continue shooting three arrows at the same time, one placed in the middle of where he is, one to his left and one to his right, and at different hights each time.

 

I quickly make for the empty trench

"Thank you for your kindness,sir.I just need a little time for my questions."
"As large as it can be,is there any villages nearby?At least,a safe place...I have been in a little trouble before arriving here,if you wonder why I ask such a question."
"And another thing I want to know,is about the creatures that live in the wilderness of this forest."

 

WHAT! I charge down to the crossbowmen and try to slice them

 

I ask him which is the strongest.

 

I attack another Hellwood soldier.

 

"Honour, glory. I see three sides of a battle I wish to join. One side has more hope than the others: your armies."

 

I take a closer look at the crack, trying to determine the source of the steam.

 

Continue walking

 

You and your troops continue marching through Hellwood. Not much of interest.

You look into the crack. It's glowing. There's lava underneath. You can also see some water.

"I see...very well." He motions for a monster to come closer. They exchange several words, after which the monster says "Please follow me downstairs to the barracks. You shall be staying there while we evaluate your performance in battle."

You swing your staff around, hitting the soldier in the head. He falls to the ground unconscious as well.

"My my, we have lots that are the strongest! Do you wish strongest in terms of magical capability, material it is made of, etcetera?"

You charge towards them, raking several soldiers. +5 Kills +1 Prestige

"There is a village not too far from here. Populated by elementals. As for your second question, let your imagination run wild."

You jump into the trench. After a while of waiting, you can see the caravan approaching in the distance. Lumi runs over to the top of your trench. "By the way, we attack at the same time. Wait for until the caravan covers the whole line of tranches before jumping them. We'll follow your lead." He runs back to his trench and jumps back down into his trench.

He dodges all of the arrows again. "Please, try shooting more arrows." He taunts.

OOC:Before I post the reply, what kind of lance is Hydrolance? Maybe post a picture which best describes it.

"Heh...no one...I can offer you teleportation to any place if you want...for the right price...heh...

 

"Right... Price?" I tilted my head, in curiosity and confusion

 

I nod as he finished.'Knowing there is a village nearby,it should be better if I go to check it out next.There isn't much clue anyway.'
"I see...Thank you very much,kind sir...."I fall into thoughts for a short while as I feel like something is missing,then realise my rudeness.
".....I forgot to ask for your name and began pouring questions in...Please forgive my churlish behavior."I push up my glasses and fix it position as I aplogise,then look at the man in front of me again as I bow slightly."I am Vanat Alzirn,a traveller,you can say...Thank you for providing me these information.Will you tell me your name,sir?"

 

I continue to explore the cavern.
