finding out that "AU" stands for alternate universe while first finding undertale fandom stuff at the age of like 13 does give me some unrealistic expectations of other people's vocabulary

anyway i feel like "the characters and story from the original story except a little different / with a small addition" is just such a pointless angle to take when making fanfiction imo, most times even just reusing characters is pretty damn lame to me (as opposed to the grand and amazing reusing of setting)
