It's not that he posts, it's what he posts, and the frequency.
It's so transparently like-whoring what he's doing.
That, and he's always everywhere, without limiting himself.
And it's just that what makes him so much more annoying to me, and quite a few others - he doesn't know when to stop.
I've mentioned it to him a few times already, but he just keeps going.
Likes are nice, and I do appreciate them and want them. But I'm not posting simply to get likes. I post because I want to. You're basically saying it's wrong for me to be an active member of the forums.
What about he is everywhere? It's his life and he do what he wants,he just want to have fun at forums. If the limitation is what annoys you,no one should use the forums then. And likes is what he earn from people, making quality posts. Quality over quantity.
It stops being about his life, when he starts getting in the way of other people.
When two other people ask me questions about him and share that they're annoyed at him, then it's not just about him.
He overstays his welcome sometimes, and he just doesn't realize it. I don't choose to get annoyed. I've tolerated it for quite a while. But there are limits.
This comment he made here, he didn't directly ask for a like, but that was his goal. He wanted this comment to be liked.
"Oh hey, if I give them a compliment and make a joke, I'll get a like"
Because, guess what? It was just. A. Joke. There was no intention of getting a like. I just wanted to have fun. If you can't understand that, then it's not my problem.
How do I know?
Well, see, SC1020, as a human being,
I form a judgement of what type a person someone is,
largely based on the things they say and how they behave.
You have shown time and time again that you very much care about likes, status and - to sum it up - bragging rights.
"My idea got implemented" , you spammed on 10 profiles, expecting to get a pat on the shoulder. | Good job, Kid! |
So based on those observations, I'd say that it's very likely that your reason for posting this was for the most part, a hope to receive at least 1 like.
I'll admit, back when my idea got implemented, I was excited. I'm not exactly proud of saying that so many times.
And if somebody else thought I was attempting to get likes, so what? That's just another person. It wasn't meant for likes, and someone else thinking it doesn't change history to make it so that it was aimed for likes.
However, that's not exactly wrong. It's a simple life lesson that not everyone will agree with you, that there will be some people who don't think the same as others about what you have said or done.
Yeah, but when you post on the profiles of exactly those people.
And they tell you that those type of comments aren't welcome.
Or express their annoyance.
And you simply say that they are wrong, rather than thinking:
"Hey, why do they feel that way about me?".....
Now, I do want to ask. I honestly am not totally clear:
Is the problem simply me posting on your profile with a joke? I mean, you do it yourself. Is it because I'm supposedly trying to get likes? I'm not totally sure what you mean, to be honest.
I did read the comment.
And what the "problem" was, is that it's not quite a joke.
It's not something that can be related to, or laughed at.
It's just a very, very strange compliment.
You can't quite react to it.
The most you could do is either ignore or like the comment.
What's really surprising is that you guys are arguing over a
silly little like. But for me I'll go with JJ here.
Sc, you're too much of this like whore. I know the reason why you post these big threads: To get a lot of likes. Not only that, but in the past, you wrote a message on my profile saying ''the shadow will slay the kitty in likes''
How could you not be obsessed with that?
Not to mention that what I believe is that whenever a new question topic is answered, you answer it in a ''good'' way.
I also recognized I was this a while back, hence I had 200 likes due to statuses. But I cleaned up my profile, which reduced the number. Which means I didn't really care if I had 1 like, or 20,000000 likes.
To be honest, with some of the stuff I said back there, I think I was kind of lying to myself. I do try to get likes a lot of the time, and I can't try to deny that. All I can say is that I will do my best to fix that.
