Rien, you're thinking of 1600's/1700's armies. These are people who fly drones, guards to goverment, and are on the front lines. I'll have to ask my grandpa, he was in the army as a cook. :3
You probably didn't get cooldown periods where your body regenerates stuffums. If you run on asphalt too much for marathon practice and etc [Like me] you get something called shin splints where your bone chips off, and it starts aching your leg even if you're not tired.
