graphic calculator? That thing is banned for school/college stuff where I live...basically, it can draw results e.g. graphs, asymptotes, functions, quadratic equations...It's banned in my place because it does all the work for you...literally, all the work...you just input your equations and you are done, it outputs numeric AND graphic result...my college doesn't let me use any kind of calculator,
I need to know everything myself. I am not familiar with education properties in your country, but if that kind of calculator is in fact aloud, and math isn't something important to you, then by all means, go for it. Some of them can even go to internet and have colored display.
I just did quickly googling...so, 84 is a model after 83...it probably has a few extra functions you are never going to need/use...other possibility is that it has a faster processing time, which for graphic calculator is important. Go with a new model, 84, if you can, you can't go wrong with it.
Ok then. Thanks for the tips. It's just there were quite a bit of choices in the store ex. Titanium version, plus, ect. that I didn't know which one to get. I thought you would know since you take engineering and all, but apparently you aren't allowed them. Thanks anyway!
Dang, that's impressive! You had to do all that by hand? Especially with engineering, one of the hardest subjects? Dang, one problem must take forever!
Well, in the U.S., graphic calculators are allowed to be used on the SAT, the final exam in senior year. So I am just shocked to hear you are not allowed even a simple calculator!
I could have used calculator in high school, tho not graphic...but now, when I'm in college, yes, I need to know everything without it. Trust your teachers and go with their recommendation is best I can say for you since I don't know much about them.
