No, that's not too personal at all - I was 21 when I had Luke; it was about 2 months before my 22nd birthday :) then I had Joey when I was 27, and Primrose when I was 32 :D (I know you only asked about my eldest... I never know when to shut up!) heh xxx

Yikes! Did it turn your world upside down? I'm still learning to look after myself! The idea of kids terrifies me beyond belief lol.

It was most definitely an experience - still is. I was not prepared at all, and to be honest, looking back, I wish I had waited until I was a bit more mature myself. However, as most folks say - I wouldn't change things now.

Nobody tells you how tough it is to suddenly have this whole other little human being that you have to protect and nurture. Not only that, but what they potentially become as they grow is down to your input and the values you impart. It's such a massive thing and it took my feet out from under me.

I can only imagine! You sound like an awesome mother though ^_^
