We've been having some similar reactions in topics, lately. Or I simply didn't even bother responding after reading yours.

Ah yeah it's weird. I get the same thing. I think I'm becoming more outspoken rather than pretending that our society is full of fairies and fluffy bunnies.
There's a lot more I could say, but purposely refrain from.
I want this to be a better place - not a war zone. It's like... carefully selected .. confrontations? I guess?
That's not to say I have a plan, because I don't.
But there's some real shit that needs changing.
Pretty much. It's like earlier, someone in the lobby in-game called me a 'spoilt brat' among other things because I stated that it wasn't Wynncraft's fault that you couldn't connect, it was Mojang's. I found it pretty funny. This community has a lot of problems in it, and it needs to be made a better place.
I'm not the kind of person who'll keep my opinion to myself, which is probably the reason why I'm disliked IRL by a lot of people. But, I'm beyond caring. If the cost of friendship or acceptance is because I have a different opinion to a person, I don't really care about them anyway.
Well, honestly, I'm not even talking about the in-game community at this point. It's the forum community, even moderators, too. Don't get me wrong, I like this place, or I wouldn't be as active here.
But sometimes it really gets on your nerves.
Especially if you pay close attention and (therefore) sometimes realize what exactly goes on behind the scenes.
Now, I'm not saying I'm a saint. I've been a pain in the ass plenty of times here. You'd probably remember from the first month or two I was here - and still at times.
But I can't sit idly by and watch things happen that really shouldn't.
I feel really that most of the mods around here are half-assed and don't actually do anything. I really get those moments where I'm like "If I were a moderator I could've dealt with this by now" etc.
But of course, not everyone gets what they want. Life's a bitch. And seriously, there are problems here.

You're supposed to contact a moderator, wait thirty minutes, see them give a half-assed answer while they jerk it because of how superior they feel, and then be grateful that they came at all. Pun intended.
If you actually fucking DARE help a fellow player yourself, you're mini-modding! Users are in no way permitted to share their knowledge or help other players. It is strictly prohibited.
Now, jokes aside, I'm not saying moderators are actually like that. They are only human, and helpful at plenty of times if you do contact them. They can't see everything.
Yet, at times, I seriously feel that it's gotten to their head. They talk about personal things they know nothing about, even.
Their word is law. Even if they're clearly wrong.
Users are being judged, moderators are not.
And you'll have plenty of users coming to their aid if you dare speak against them.
Lately though, I'm hearing of a lot of active players being dissatisfied. But hey, we're just the playerbase. The target group. The one that's supposed to be happy.
And you're NEVER allowed to tag a mod in a post in order to get their attention to the said thread. No no no! We are NEVER allowed to do that.
And you know what I fucking hate? When you help someone, you clearly give the right answer, then a moderator comes along and repeats the answer you gave but rephrased and then closes the thread thinking they're fucking gods.
Yeah, no, I'm not disagreeing. Anyone reading this needs to realize we're mostly ranting and thus generalizing.
Mainly focusing on the negative.

Moderators are too invincible.
And sure, you can send a complaint.
But then there's also a lot of inside fighting. Among moderators.
And what happens when such a complaint leaks? Because moderators are human, some of them young, and I'd hate to get on their bad side.
It's rather silly that I need to have that fear.
Hell I could complain to Grian on Skype about them, but where would that get me? Either ignored, removed from Skype, blocked, and/or banned from Wynn (or YT rank taken off me).
