not saying that i'm immune or claiming that i don't use them but it's been kinda interesting to see the difference? youtube has a very simplified algoritm since they started focusing into repeat content and reddit's algoritm is just really bad, but twitter definitely keeps very careful track of what you click on or open to view and works from that. it would be interesting if it wasn't terrifying

the tiktok or instagram shorts algoritms are supposed to be ruthless but i'm immune based on the fact that i've got a fundamental dislike for fullscreen swipe stuff and that doesn't change. shoutouts to that i guess for preventing extreme brainrot

Too much development near me to see the Milky Way. I can see some stars (like Orion, or at least his belt is visible at some point), but not much more

I’ve really only seen it once just by looking up but it was cool

i can see plenty stars, even pick out a couple of the constellations i know pretty well if i go a little out of town, but never anything close to the bright smear of the milky way

Isn't there something with the human body where like you're more healthy when you wake up with the sun or something and that's why people on the side of their time zone closer to Greenwich are healthier and daylight saving time is bad?

daylight saving time is bad because it's built for construction workers & farmers and no one else. however if the sun is actively attempting to boil me i wouldn't mind switching to darkness
