To comment on quests, after the Steel Feather Chapter, I was really excited, but then shrouded in mist was just... eh. Not bad per se, but I'm not super interested in Mistwoods or their people right now. I'm hoping True Colors changes that. Burning Bonds was a little better. The puzzle took me several tries, but it was fun. Nothing to write home about, but decent
Now to theories. Questbook says we don't have that much time here in Mistwood - we're departing to Highlands Soon. Now this could be nothing... but there is a military installation near Highlands' border in Mistwood. What I think is gonna happen is that we break in and free our friends before escaping... it makes sense given the Canopy dude was talking about intel he had on their whereabouts.
Perhaps something goes wrong and we get flushed out of Mistwoods, or perhaps the canopy kicks us out, or maybe we have a new plan to kill the queen, so we follow the festival to Highlands, idk, but we go to Highlands, perhaps more organized this time than the last move.
From there, we either partner with the local resistance, or make our own stand and liberate a district, trapping the queen, and some of her Sovereigns, inside Alumenia Citadel
Well, for wildly inaccurate, it turns out I was at Ft. Hegea and idk, but it didn't seem like a prime location for a quest, and it certainly wasn't a prison. I was hoping we might find them before the inevitable confrontation with the Queen, but I think they might be being kept somewhere in the wastelands
Well, I guess it was Hegea. Now for reviewing True Colors, pretty good, the story quality definitely picked back up. I used to dislike Sui, but this angry side, I like.
Did Overture, as far as despair I have none. That meeting with Tasim. I don't want to have to fight him but we're both digging in our heals. This town is no longer big enough for the two of us. What happened to the old Tasim. The one we met so often in the early games. The one I loved like a brother. One of us will die and narrative logic says it won't be me. What happened to him?
The House of Nasain SD was cool ngl, I dropped everything to visit Gale right after because it was vitally necessary. Predictions for Ensamble. We we have our favorite duo, Reph back and I'm excited. Part of me wonders if we'll go back to the Mistwoods for the Y brothers and Rurie as a sort of union of resistances/last stand. Three quests left. Three levels left. Three (+/-) days left
