this is like the big furry webcomic (well, maybe second, but eh) so it was coming but you don't need to be one to enjoy this, it starts off a little slow (though the more conceptual or full-story stuff taking a while to start up might be what you prefer) but it gets so so good

crazy underdescription here by the way. it indeed is about a kobold but also it's a reasonable cultivation type setup tied with very nice lore, really surprisingly great encompassing storytelling, a couple really hard-hitting moments and overall it's just so satisfying to read. should mention that i tore through the 900k+ wordcount in 30ish hours across only two days first time around
