thing that could save her was a special element that was included in the control mechanism for the mech/armor, the only problem was that 1. The element was a rod that was implanted into his heart. 2. If the armor detects that something is trying to remove the rod, it will take control of it's host.

The dream ended with him finally ripping the rod out of his chest, while the armor takes complete control of his mind.

It was weird.
