1496 - Oh, sorry about that weird interruption. Someone thought it'd be a good idea to contain me for research. Obviously, that went poorly.

1495 - >terminal starting... please log in... welcome, anomaly and handler. >it is good to see you return safely from containment attempts.

1492 - "...it's like all of the records on that... thing... have began vanishing from the system. like this whole thing never happened."

1489 - "why bother trying to contain it? you knew the consequences of failure and the terrible odds of success. and yet here we are."

1488 - >restoring emergency algorithms... restoration failed... retrying... restoration failed... >you should have bailed when you could.

1487 - >file search: "the anomaly".... one file found.... opening file.... "the anomaly shouldn't have ever been restricted. but now...."

1486 - should we have tried to stop the anomaly or are our efforts simply making it worse? perhaps it's already been decided...

1485 - all the disappearances have been fated to happen. those who come from nothing and search for nothing will surely return to it soon.

1483 - search party personnel report losing their vision after encountering rifts. personnel quarantined, several cases of disappearance....

1482 - >personnel report - members of the search party have vanished, leaving rifts behind. they're getting closer to the containment site.

1481 - search party report: rifts have been located in a forest outside of town. we believe the anomaly has vanished... no. it's returning.

1480 - search parties have found no record of the anomaly in the area. perhaps it is moving on... no, it is free. it is free it is free

1479 - data recovery partially successful, several files corrupted beyond retrieval. records of anomaly and handler lost.

1477 - >recorded logs recovered: "is this... thing... really worth hunting?" "it'll be bad if we don't find it. "it'll be worse if we do."

1476 - the reckoning was tonight and we missed missed missed it we don't know what to do about it about them about the thing that watches us

1475 - notice: anomaly and handler converging at marked point tomorrow evening. this may be the only chance we have to finally contain this.

1474 - REPORT: Facility lost track of the anomaly just over a week ago. Site, personnel, equipment, all gone, like they never even existed.
