tbh mentally i assume people are male when unspecified, but i still use they/them pronouns if i don't know their pronouns
even if i do know gender and/or pronouns, sometimes my brain forgets and just defaults to they/them, happens more than you think

I mean, yeah, those are both entirely valid points which I agree with - people always assume a binary gender. What I was saying in this post tho is that on the internet sooooo many people use "he/him" pronouns when talking about people, but irl I look kinda feminine I guess, so I'm just used to being referred to as "she/her" on first glance
