I think that's not even controversial, it's just some manga readers going apeshit over a shit ton of filler content that was cut I'm pretty sure

it really sucked... the pacing was god awful and the plot was awful and is just a confusing mess, and they skipped one of the best manga arcs called goldy pond along with many others, which just led to awful world building and a strange timeskip

it’s pretty controversial, most people agree s2 is a dumpster fire, and episode 10 didn’t even have any credited writers...

just watched the last episode, and that was just... the most rushed thing I’ve ever seen

TPN manga second half was really bad, but S2 was incredibly even worse. Doesn't help that they skipped the best parts of the manga.
