The fun LOTR references and dialogue, locations (Mt Doom, secret library, hobbit hole etc) it was a thoroughly wholesome quest and one I first completed 5-6 years ago. Very enjoyable

unfortunately they pretty much completely confirmed that it's never coming back in 1.20 because bulbo is used as an npc to give you a clock for the clock mystery
pretty much what im trying to say is that lord of the clock is dead and there is nothing we can do about it

The references were blatant and incredibly low effort, the dialogue was literally bland as hell and the only thing it had going for it was said references. if shitty fetch quests are your idea of wholesome then you need a new definition of that

The references were very unsubtle and it was meant to be tongue in cheek. How is this called a fetch quest when nonsense quests like Kingdom of Sand (a walking and talking, whilst fetching quest) are heralded as the best thing to mankind since the lightbulb?
