So what you mean others might get jealous if they get a follow from you?

Well, there are a lot of active members on the forum.
If I'm going to follow anyone, it's likely for their content.
Other members might get jealous over it, yeah, but it's the idea -that- they -might- that bugs me.
It's one of the reasons, not the main reason.
