You can actually download the images straight into your posts using the advanced options. And regarding photoshop, there's no simple way to teach banners. I recommend googling and youtubing tutorials. That's what I have done (and continue to do) to create any design work. :)

Highlight the image, click the little paper clip, type in the link, and press enter.
