By using Blender.
It's pretty simple, I just download a Minecraft character rig and put it in Blender then change the pose a little bit, and add some lights and it's finished.

Another important point is that there is a new update to Blender and it changes a lot of the viewport, for example in 2.79 you use right-click to select but in 2.8 you use left click to select (but you can change it).
So I'll recommend to download 2.79 to understand the basics then use 2.8 (if you want to continue using Blender)
