They are awful building materials. They’re so dark that you can’t see any detail, and the only contrasting blocks that fit the Nether are Red Nether Brick, which has the same texture as Nether brick.

It’s mostly with how it looks in the Nether and when it’s clustered by itself. You can’t make out any detail, and it hurts to look at after awhile

True, true. I know it’s supposed to be a hellscape and all, but for some reason it just looks worse than it should.
