Guilds work
All mythics rebalanced
Powder prices dropped
There is now an item team who works on new items, and balancing old ones
1.17 came out, bringing new discoveries to ragni plains
yeah but as if the rules aren't ambiguous enough, this is even worse. one of the original reasons I left was because of issues with the mod team, so I probably won't be coming back.
the issue is that it says that overpricing is not allowed.
Thats not even lying about prices, apparently, asking for an "unreasonable" (ambiguously defined by the mod addressing the concern however they feel like it) amount
They really aren't being strict about it, just be fair with prices and as long as it's close you are fine, I get that it's not well defined, but it's really tough to define that well
thats the issue, if a certain mod happens to dislike you and you've priced an item to the point that it is even debatably overpriced, they can remove your post.
aren't items supposed to be priced based on supply/demand? it's sort of pointless if you're limiting the price of an item because there aren't many lmao
thats the thing, its ambiguous enough that its not something they can be punished for. All they have to do is say "well its overpriced in my opinion" because thats what it is, opinion.
i question the idea that something has to be under a certain price. you can place your items up for however much you want, people just might not buy it
thats how most markets work, that if something is overpriced, people will know to not buy it or at least ask around before considering it, but thats not the case here because apparently, there is a certain limit where an item is considered "grossly overpriced", which is "not ok".
We only punish people for overpricing when they intentionally scam someone by lying about the price or outrageously overprice something (for example, 3 stacks for something worth 1). As well we always ask people in the community who are known to be good price checkers before saying something is a scam.
you're referring to just scamming, overpricing is a whole nother thing.
"If this occurs in the Trade Market, first please make the seller aware of the current price of the item before filing a report. The thread author HAS to change the price if he CANNOT give a reason why it is overpriced."
in my eyes, overpricing is literally fine as long as you never lie and state that the item is worth that much. In other communities its called sharking (lying about prices to newer people who don't know them to get a sale), but this directly attacks "grossly overpricing". If you don't punish it, it shouldn't be in the rules.
I'll just stick to trading in csgo/pubg and making irl money than get involved in an overmoderated market again, contentwise its doing pretty well I just don't feel like getting into minecraft again.
