I have a dog, and my mother sometimes calls my dog by my name and me by my dog's name. It happens more than I'd like to admit.

My brothers have called me an it or robot multiple times ^_^; my mom and grandparents have called me by my aunt's name..

Before I went through puberty and became more masculine, I had really long hair so I genuinely looked like a little girl (I still do, but I got it cut when I was young and had it short for a while). I'd be constantly referred to as female, so I'd always have to say "I'm a boy!"

It was annoying at the time, but looking back at old photos of myself, I thought it was pictures of a random girl so I understand why.

I've mistaken guys for girls before so yeah...

I never tried to correct most of them as it would make them feel awkward, whoops
