2-3 years ago I wouldn't understand people that talk sense and I'll instead make cringy jokes to rub into people's faces and fight people who act as fun police, now I kind of understand why they did that.
I'd say the forums are shittier than ever. I'd only ever chuckle at the occasional shitpost and then proceed to see cringe and nonsensical shipping that somehow became serious. Why has this place become more child-friendly :/
Personally, I have no problem with the current forums at all. I know what you said is basically subjective, but I don't think it's outright "cringe"-inducing nor child-friendly, it's been the same as it always was to me, but with different people, in a positive sense.
In fact, I sort of prefer the members we have now compared to a few certain old ones, for reasons I'm going to get into for obvious reasons.
I think you're being a little nostalgic over the old community, which I've sort of grown to dislike, not sure, apologies if I'm wrong. There were a few bad apples then and there are a few bad apples now.
If I sound "offended" then I'm terribly sorry, I just have a bad history with these types of posts, basically some people, who, rather than leave the game peacefully, choose to stay and make negative opinions towards the community even if they don't enjoy the game anymore. No, I'm not saying this towards you, I was just giving an example.
