Everyone jumped in, supporting the case that he isn't, while being super rude about it too. It was clear he was a hypocrite, but people liked him so he wasn't.

I am that kid who is usually always looking at a book, so if you do annoy me enough, I will look up and say things like that, but in the end, being anti-social means people wont really defend your case, even if you are right.
