it's mostly about color choice for me! if there's a specific drawing you're referring to, i can try and break down my process haha

you know the shading and light lines in the hair of your profile pic? thats what i mean, i dont know how to do that ;-;

i want to do shadings like these ;-;

i used light yellow for the highlights and darkish red for the shadows since they're both warm colors like the light-brown hair but aren't brown

then i took the light-brown color of the hair and drew some lines in the areas of light/shadow in the direction the hair is flowing

i think i might've used some purple in the darkest spots to contrast with the yellow highlights since purple and yellow are opposite colors
