But in all seriousness there aren't really any set in stone hours or anything, as long as you get on to do mod work once or twice a week or so at least.

At least as far as I'm concerned.

I mean to do mod work you *mainly* have to be ingame if you're seeking out hackers.... So that kinda encourages playing.

It's up to you, really. Sometimes I just feel like playing. That doesn't mean you can completely neglect your moderation duties but you do get a lot of leeway.
