Probably Francis, mods wouldn't delete a thread unless its extremely offensive. Most likely we would move it to a graveyard section for future reference.

Kind of messed up that a user can just delete someone's posts like that if they feel like it, if you ask me.

No, that's a terrible system. Mods can go back and look at them. Same with posts.
