Because it's free, easy to jump into, and you can go to the community store and take things other people have made and play around with them whenever you want. You can make literally anything you want, unlike in Minecraft, where you're limited by the blocks and commands.

limited? minecraft? you got it all wwrong sir. mods open up the wworld of exploration and unlike roblox you can do anything wwithout any "noobs" coming to annoy you in single player.
