This has been my first one in a while. I may start doing more, may not @Happy Halloween! Actually if you use any data to support your claim, it's a theory
that would be very impractical. the definition that I normally hear is "a well-substantiated hypothesis.".
@Happy Halloween! The was I see it is that a hypothesis is what you think will happen before you experimentally test it. A theory is based on data collected, but can't really be tested.
Theeories are very much testable, otherwise we wouldn't be able to disprove them, like we did with much of Newtonian physics.
