Not sure if that's sarcasm or not, but people can like a series despite what the author says on Twitter.

The point is that people are shitting all over her and saying her books are shit or that they've lost their respect for her, gained through books, lost through politics. That's like admiring a woodworker's creations and then saying they're terrible because they can't make a steel sword.
