I hate using pekka and witch just because literally it's so easy to counter when you get to higher arenas, I use miner as it's a more unique style of play

technically they are since there's 10 arenas and 5 is middle while 6 is above middle

I was pretty sure giant balloon also worked pretty well(I've used it arena 2-4 on my 2nd alt and no losses so far)

yeah, I played for my friend with a giant balloon all the way up to arena 6 with that combo, but he's level 4 so when he actually started playing he dropped like shit xD
