You wait for an old man to announce this years games and then a girl in a big powdered wig takes your envelope with blood in it and draws a name from a big ass bowl.
Also your sister might volunteer as Mod and then you don't get to be Mod :(

All of the sudden you get dropped into a maze with no memory, and have to survive with the others there and defeat these cow spiders. Once you have completed the maze, you can then become mod.
