I think it was hard and was changed to medium
Personally the only hard part is the mob swarm
But hard quests usually take a very long time like TOL or the hive

Quest difficulty is based off length of the quest I believe.

to me the length was pretty long, but I dunno, Shadow Of The Beast is another hard quest that didn't take nearly as long or as much effort as this one, atleast from my perspective
