@captainganon The guy lived there, I know many people who live ALL OVER Canada who agree with that video. And I was gonna move to Canada before I actually did my Research. (Also, watch CBC Marketplace for a taste of all the cons in Canada.)
Try some place in central America if you REALLY wanna live in the trees.
@Chino Wow, really? What planet are you from? No really, you on the east or west coast, there is a big difference between those places. Unless you've never been here before, in which case, you should visit before saying the place sucks. (FYI I've been in Canada, Vancouver was nice to visit, but there is a reason we didn't move. One word I'm sure you all know.)
@Hi I'm Flubby I started with a joke, @Salteds Hot Face wanted to know why, I told him the literal side of it. @captainganon said I was talking BS, I explained myself. @Chino Was probably joking from the start, but with the fact that the Canadian Immigration website was down during the election, its safe to say they could be legit.
So first off, tagging people in comments just gives them alerts that lead them to an error page. @Rusty Buckitt given your post I find that hard to interpret as a joke, and given you never said it was, every other response was petty valid.
Dude, do I REALLY need to follow up every joke I make with "ITS A JOKE" so that the ONE guy in the audience who doesn't get it can now understand it? I got your joke, and it had more grounding to be truthful (google poe's law) than most.
My general rule of thumb as far as internet jokes is to make it intentionally ironic. Your initial post was dead-pan with no indication of humor. I also don't need someone to classify what a joke is, because if you intend to justify your post using Poe's Law it, you fall under the harsh blanket of Hypocracy. Gonna go watch Matt Damon movies. Bye
