Regarding GM applications, did you get a response to yours?

Just sent it in recently. The issues with responses still might me here.

I sent mine over a week ago and I have yet to receive any sort of response. I did ask for a time estimation from Ackro, and then he wrote something about me being on a "list" with one other person.

I have no idea what that means.

So the way I understand the GM Application system works is that an application is placed into a cue with other applications. Certain GMs review each application and score them. After it gets enough negative ratings, it's automatically denied, and if it gets enough positive ratings, it's reviewed by salted/a high level GM. The process can take months if it's flooded.

Well, all I know is that there seem to be limited numbers of Trial GMs, and I think Endertricity (not sure if that's the correct spelling) couldn't handle the trial and gave up.

People are saying the trial is hard. And I'm sitting over here with the ultimate knowledge of yml files. I have a server with several mobs that I had to modify (using a plugin) using advanced-level yml work. If they throw those files at me, I will be prepared.

I'd reccomend not getting too psyched up, and just be ready for whatever result you get. At the end of the day, you can always try again if you don't like your result.

Deep down, I sort of believe that after this waiting for weeks I'm going to receive the PM and I'll open it, seeing the bloody red font scroll across the page.

I will literally screenshot that and put John Cena/troll faces/Rickroll images all over it.

Aye man, I like to go into situations like this with no expectation.

Keeps me from being dissapointed even if I get accepted.
