I think that sums it up in a nutshell.

I cant wait to get on to the next 2-3-however many parts, but i'ma save it for later. Anyone who's played, i'm not past 2 yet, but feel free to post anything that wont REALLY spoil the experience.

What was the twist?

Someone we thought was a petty scam artist was the villain, Mr Reus, and the VICTEM, who we THOUGHT was Mr Reus was a pawn in the real one's game. He wanted to ruin troupe grameyre, and murdered the fake by hiding a sword (which was to be used as a prop) inside the shock absorbing mat for tricks.

He framed Trucy, phoenix's adopted daughter and the heir to troupe gramrye, by trying to make it look like she stabbed the fake.
