Yuno, that's the Creative Commons liscense (where only some rights are reserved). By default, any creative work that's recorded is copyrighted by the creator, unless stated otherwise. The creator can create terms (hence why the CC liscense is possible) and allow certain people to share copyright, but by default Copyright law, even if it's not for sweet $$$$ it's still illegal.
If I'm not mistaken, only the copyright holder can pursue charges though, and most non-professional creators are chill with that because they do not make money.
Professional creators (those who do make money off of their work) will probably give you a scolding if it's not transformative (because you essentially just stole their work). It's still morally wrong to use it without consent, so ask someone. There's a lot of art shops too.
