It's illegal because exploiting glitches is illegal

It's not a glitch... It's a thing in guild chat, just try /g ?4 Hello and it'll say 'Hello' but in red text, this works for numbers from 0 to 9, and maybe even higher, I haven't tried that yet

Yes, it is. It's a glitch; you're not supposed to be able to use the colour chat plugin, but since Guilds are glitchy, you can in GChat

Even if it is illegal, it's only for guild chat and doesn't give you anything, so why make a problem of something that doesn't give you any unfair advantages in the game? It's been in guild chat for a while and the 'command' to type in different colours even changed once (maybe more, IDK) Also, how do you know if it's a glitch or not?

Because there was an enormous discussion about it several months ago that lead to many players being banned and using colour chat being ruled as illegal.

Why would anyone ban someone over using colours in guild chat? Seems strange to me, just warn them to not do it instead of banning them

They were warned, then continued to do it and were then banned. I'm fairly certain they got unbanned after appealing, but they still did get banned.

It was a pretty controversial thing to do, but since it was technically against the rules, it was enforced as illegal.

In any case, I'm not saying "o u shud be baned haha" I'm just saying you might want to be more careful with it. Like, don't use shouts with colour, since any online mods will probably notice.

I'll never buy any shouts or anything anyway, just seems like a waste of money to me anyway, but thanks for letting me know tho
