So, in Spare Parts, George Lopez is a teacher in a small town in Arizona (based on a true story). A ragtag team of students spark an interest of robotics in him as he helps them build a robot full of tampons for a competition. after the events of the movie take place, George secretly perfects his skills in robotics until he becomes... dun dun dun... MR ELECTRIC!
He keeps his secret villain identity secret by continuing with his teaching career, which is where max comes in. George is max's teacher in SB&LG. max reads george's mind unknowingly through his dreams and exposes his secret identity as MR ELECTRIC. George finds out about this when he reads max's journal and seeks to destroy the young lad from the inside out.
George causes max to black out in the middle of a tornado that he created in the future, so that he can invade max's mind. the plot of the movie plays out and MR ELECTRIC is thwarted. But as you know, he WASN'T! OH SHIT MAMMA WOOOO!
George foresaw this as the outcome, and sent the dream-infused tornado from the future as backup to take out max when he woke up. MR ELECTRIC comes out of the nado to finish off max when suddenly, shark boy and lava girl come out too and save the day but not really because max is the one who murders George in the end, stopping his reign of terror.
Because Spare Parts is based on a true story, so are the events of Sharkboy and lava girl!
Now, we follow George/MR ELECTRIC on his voyage through the afterlife in 'George Lopez: the show' where George overcomes everyday struggles in comedic fashion with his son Max symbolizing his burning hatred for the max that ripped him from his mortal coil in a cold, unforgiving death.
