If it is:
You die of fever because the proteins of your body can't stand high temperatures. It simply rips them appart. That part is physics: Temperature is the everage velocity of the particles

I said this because Kepler died of a fever.

Temperature too low: Proteins kinda 'freeze'
Temperature too high: Proteins get destroyed

That is why you die in the cold as well in heat.
