I've never liked roleplay at all, it always just seems really cringey and makes the person seems very very immature to me. (no offense)

well tbh roleplaying differs between individuals
that roleplay "script" you wrote out does seem to be over the top and childish though

It's mostly cringey and immature if little kids do it. In order for it to be good is to show real emotion and not be so bad at acting, come up with a good story. And you should be good. And if the roleplay is based off something, the costumes really have to look like the real character.
