Well, using command blocks, it is gonna be hard to detect where, and which mouse-button someone used to left/right click :3

Bukkit is used for most plugins, and the majority of servers run using it.

Didn't they stop updating Bukkit since the EULA reform?

Spigot countinues, which is basically the same, I think.
