I don't like to copy people. I'm trying to use my own style, and it seems like people like it. I'm still using other's renders for insparation, but I try to have my own style, so my work is not gonna look like his.
Don't tell anybody, but I'm doing a render of Llevigar, like you wanted. I'm using some more advanced lighting effecs and filters to make it look really good, and I hope to finish it soon (tm).
Also, Antra, if you mean it s an insult, just remember that he's been rendering for much lomger than me. I've been rendering for a year, which is not the longest time.
I didn't say I got offended, sometimes people say "you should learn a thing or 2 for them" in a sarcastic way, as an insult. I'm sorry if you didn't mean it, and the last thing I want is to be misundertood.
Yeah, I'm really happy with how his render looks! It's cool how he added the border so my character "pops" out of the screen. Your renders are very good too @yotamdin ! I like your Gert Camp and your Detlas downtown renders.
Thank you to very one for the kind comments on my render. The reason I'm writing this huge comment is so people understand the different between COPYING and BEING INSPIRED. ;)
First off; "he's been rendering for much longer than me."
First, I'm not firing shots on my/your skill, it's just how I explain it and you'll understand in the end :). So now that is said, Yotamdin there is not much of a different in learning Minecraft in animation, I would like to say it caps out about 8 months where you know enough to produce good content.
But what is different is my POST-PRODUCTION skills, you're renders are amazing man and they are just as good as mine! Though I use Photoshop / After Effects to tune it up a bit. So I disagree with your comment and think you're just as good as me, but in terms of the experience of the program then I much outdo you because I've been using C4D for longer.
Second; "I don't like to copy people. I'm trying to use my own style"
There is a HUGE different between COPYING and BEING INSPIRED. It's okay to borrow style to build upon your skill and find your own style. So don't limit yourself so much on what you can and can't do. That said your style is amazing, but you could use a little more signature style to your work! :D
IN CONCLUSION:
- You can use what other people use, but there is a big different between COPYING and BEING INSPIRED! :D
- I can tell Antra didn't mean it as in insult, but I think he forgot we both use different Softwares.
- BTW;; @yotamdin (Did you make XavierEXE's profile picture??) If so do you mind me BORROWING the style you used, I've never seen this style in a render and have a great idea for it! :D <3
