Temmies/Tems are thought to be a mix of a dog, and a cat, but they have human communication abilities (aka they can talk) to a slightly less than average degree, thus the cat ears on top, and the dog ears on the side. They are known for saying "Hoi!" a lot.

Apparently at least I was more dog-like than cat-like since I mutated into a wolf/Temmie hybrid...

"slightly less than average" is an understatement

Though why you lost the side ears confuses me @Temwolf since you retained the cat ears but not the dog ones :D

Since wolf ears are pointy I guess the cat ears became the wolf ears.
