There is 2 characters to this one character, just as there is Darth Vader, and Anakin. Kylo's real name is Ben. Although it is not said often **SPOILER** it is said when Han calls out to him on the bridge over that large gap on starkiller base. Kylo Ren is his dark side name. We do not know yet where get got Kylo, but he is supposedly part of the Knights of Ren getting the Ren part from there.

Kylo is not a Title. Unlike Darth vader Kylo Ren's title is after his I.D.. For Darth Vader his Title is first and his I.D. is last.

The only reason the sith doesn't win is because it's a movie and they have to make the bad guys win. All the flaws in their space stations are way too stupid to be something they would actually make if they were real
