It's pretty quick my definition of instant must be different from yours I always think of something that can happen in less then 5 seconds as a instant granted that logic is not sound......I'm going an a rant now aren't I?
Instant for me means at the exact moment something happens. For example, when you press the space bar in Minecraft, you can't see the delay between when you press the key and when your character jumps. Therefore, for me, pressing the space bar makes you instantly jump.
