(1) if you're gonna call yourself a nerd, you should know better that emotions aren't irrelevant, (2) you say you are kinda lonely; lonely is an emotion. Share something you truly believe in, don't be trying to be cool.

What's the difference from saying "don't try to be cool" up in his face and not doing it? Nothing, it's still a thought. Not a matter of making a relationship, not a matter of "saving your thoughts away" but a matter of stating something that isn't the generic "Insert here" reply.

He gives the tools, I use them. He puts a certain persona and goes against it, that's bind to opinion.
